For chrome & stainless steel fittings slightly roughen the thread

Wind the sealing cord onto the first pitches clockwise and cross over the threads. See the pack for the correct number of turns.

Cut the cord using the attached cutting device and press the loose end onto the thread

Screw the fittings with a pipe wrench. Only reposition if necessary
